Lee’s Summit Historical Society and Museum is located in Downtown Lee’s Summit. Built within the vintage 1939 WPA Post Office building, the museum has a number of historic artifacts dating back to the early years of Lee’s Summit. Step back in time to the 1800s at Lee’s Summit Missouri Town 1855. Legacy Park spans 700 acres and includes 12 baseball fields, 6 softball fields, and 8 soccer fields as well as a large Community Center with meeting rooms, a fitness center, and recreational pool. With a 22-acre lake, disc-golf course, amphitheater, and almost 5 mile trail, Legacy Park is a sports and recreation haven for Kansas City. It's truly an enjoyable place for everyone.
Lee’s Summit Schools
Lee’s Summit schools are highly regarded in the area.
