Missouri Reciprocal

Next Step: Dual Licensure

Once you obtain a real estate salesperson license in your home state, securing a Missouri license is a smart option, allowing you to work in a larger portion of the Kansas City real estate market. The Missouri Real Estate Commission allows non-resident licensees to obtain their Missouri license in just a few simple steps*:

  1. Pass the Missouri portion of the licensee exam
  2. Complete a '24 hour Missouri Practice Course' (before or after the exam)
  3. Get Fingerprinted
  4. Provide a certification of your active licenses
  5. Complete the licensure application paperwork

Our endorsed pre-licensing education partner, The CE Shop*, offers the Missouri Practice Course as well as a helpful "Exam Prep Edge" tool that better prepares you for the Missouri exam.

Reference the information found on the Missouri Real Estate Commission's website for full details on the reciprocal licensing process in Missouri.
